Transparency about artificial intelligence
The essentials in 5 points
- Sia is a virtual assistant, an artificial intelligence. She says so at the start of every call, in the language of the call, and in the first message of every written conversation. Her voice is realistic, but she never passes herself off as a human.
- This announcement is required by the European Artificial Intelligence Act (Article 50, applicable since 2 August 2026); neither the garage nor Praz SI can switch it off.
- “SI” and “Super Intelligence” are brand names. They do not describe a technical capability: Sia can be wrong, and her diagnostic leads are indicative.
- Sia never takes an important decision on her own: emergency, dispute, discount, mechanical doubt, she hands over to a human or takes a message. You can always ask to speak to a person.
- Sia runs on language and voice models supplied by providers named in the annex to the data processing agreement; your calls are never used to train models without written consent.

What the law requires
The European Artificial Intelligence Act (Article 50) requires, since 2 August 2026, that any person who speaks or writes with an artificial intelligence be informed of it, clearly and from the start, unless it is obvious. Failure to comply with this obligation may be punished by a fine of up to €15 million or 3% of worldwide annual turnover (Article 99); for a small or medium-sized enterprise, the lower of the two amounts sets the ceiling.
The Act applies in France and in Luxembourg. Switzerland has no equivalent law specific to artificial intelligence; Praz SI applies exactly the same rule there.
Praz SI applies this rule everywhere, for all garages, in all countries, with no option to switch it off.
What Sia says, and where
Incoming calls: at the start of every call, Sia introduces herself with the words “virtual assistant” and states that she is an artificial intelligence, in the caller’s language. If recording has been activated by the garage, she says so too. For voice, a spoken announcement is enough.
Outgoing calls (when they become available) and telephone demonstration: same announcement, at the start of the call, before anything else.
Written conversations (chat on the Praz SI showcase site, assistant in the garage workspace and, once it exists, chat on the garage’s website): Sia’s first message contains “virtual assistant (artificial intelligence)”, and her name is accompanied by this mention.
Messages written by Sia (text messages, emails, summaries): they are signed by Sia on behalf of the garage; a customer who replies is always put in touch with the garage.
Videos and voice messages generated with Sia’s voice: none exist today. If Praz SI offers them one day (presentation page, monthly report), the page will state that it is a synthetic voice.
A realistic voice, but a declared one
Sia’s voice is produced by speech-synthesis providers to be pleasant and natural. It is always presented as what it is: an artificial intelligence. Sia never claims to be a person, never gives a false human first name and never denies being a machine when asked.
“SI”, “Super Intelligence”: a brand, not a promise
“SI” is the name of the range (SI Essentiel, SI Pro, SI Max, SI Intégral) and “Super Intelligence” is our way of saying that Sia does more than a simple answering machine. These are brand names. They guarantee no performance: Sia may misunderstand a name, a date or a request, and the diagnostic leads she offers the mechanic are indicative, never a diagnosis.
Praz SI does not communicate about the models used or about comparisons between artificial intelligences: quality shows in use, in the demonstration and in the garages’ real results.
What Sia does not decide
Sia applies the rules set by the garage (opening hours, services, durations, who confirms what). She never settles a risky case on her own: safety emergency, dispute, discount, complex quote, mechanical doubt. In those cases, she hands over to a human or takes a message that the garage handles.
No decision producing legal effects (refusal of service, individual pricing, sanction) is taken automatically by Sia.
You can always ask to speak to a person: Sia transfers the call if someone is available; otherwise she takes your contact details and the garage calls you back.
Where Sia’s artificial intelligence comes from
Sia relies on providers for telephony, speech recognition and synthesis, and language models. They are named, with their country, in the annex to the data processing agreement. Praz SI never trains a model on the identifiable content of a garage’s calls or messages without its separate written consent.
Sia’s answers on the Praz SI site are strictly anchored in our documents and our prices: an answer that would contain a price, a figure, a feature or a provider absent from those documents is rejected before being displayed.
Report a problem
If Sia introduced herself wrongly, claimed to be human or gave false information, write to contact@praz.si: every report is examined and used to correct Sia. Garages also have the “Report a problem” button in their workspace.
